Pack Details

Goal Audience Institutional Priority The university priority your advocacy should support, such as civic mission, AI adoption, creative economy, regional growth, public services, student demand or research impact.

Output Type Choose the artefact you most need for this situation. The preview, readiness checks and export options will adapt to this selection. Audience Starting Point How sympathetic, sceptical or constrained is the person or group you are trying to influence? Likely Objection Pick the objection the pack most needs to anticipate and answer. Argument Mode Choose the argument style that should lead the pack and presentation.

Subject Area The researcher's discipline or subject area, such as philosophy, sociology, arts, law, design, history, languages, education, psychology, politics, anthropology, business, media or heritage. Research Theme or Problem The topic, problem or context the researcher works on, such as ethics, democracy, migration, language learning, grief, AI harms, public health, heritage, inequality or education. Conversation Stance Choose how to open the conversation depending on whether you have a real example, a possible opportunity, or need to start with discovery questions.

Local Example A real piece of research, project, method, tool, partnership, dataset, creative practice, public engagement activity or intervention from your own university that could help make the conversation concrete. First choose whether you already have an example, have a possible opportunity, or need the tool to create a discovery/evidence-audit route.

Optional but useful: add maturity, people involved, possible users, partner demand, route to use, evidence gaps or why this example matters to the discussion. Decision Ask The specific action you want someone to agree to. For senior stakeholders this might be approving a seed fund, commissioning a SHAPE evidence audit, adding SHAPE-sensitive metrics to a dashboard, appointing a senior sponsor or taking a paper to committee.
